Hey there, I’m Sofia!! I’m the owner of Sofia Kate Photography and I specialize in documentary-style, digital and film photography!

It is my privilege and honor to capture the most important (and ever fleeting) moments of your life in a way that feels emotional, nostalgic, and truly authentic.

As someone who has always been deeply sentimental, my love of photography grew from the knowledge that it has the incomparable ability to capture a moment in time, and preserve it for eternity.

I value the documentation of unscripted moments – the ones that transport you back in time to remember the emotions, the in-between moments, the laughter, the chaos, and the memories you didn’t even realize were happening.

I thought that I was the one communicating with her but really she was talking to him the whole time for a surprise engagement. She captured the proposal beautifully and I had NO CLUE!! My fiancé and I are so happy with our pictures and we only have our sneak peak pics back (this was 3 days ago and we got so many beautiful sneak peaks)! Sofia is so sweet! If you’re worried about feeling awkward posing, don’t! She has plenty of different poses and laughs with you through it all!
